GRID Alternatives is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing economic and environmental justice through renewable energy solutions. In partnership with Renewable Energy Systems, a group of volunteers traveled to work in Nepal to install a battery-based solar system on Nepal’s first biodegradable sanitary pad manufacturing facility.
